Adriana Lugo will lead Change Management at Walmart

Walmart de México y Centroamérica appoints Adriana Lugo Saez as Senior Manager of Change Management to drive its cultural transformation.

Walmart de México y Centroamérica (Walmex) has taken a new strategic step in strengthening its internal structure and operating model by incorporating Adriana Lugo Saez as Senior Manager of Change Management. In this key position within the corporate organizational chart, the executive assumes responsibility for leading initiatives focused on accelerating the company's organizational transformation, aligning the human capabilities of the workforce with the operational and digitalization goals of the retail giant.

During her initial onboarding process, Lugo Saez conducted an integral tour of the various operational units that make up the company's ecosystem in the region. This immersion included a direct analysis of the supply chain, the logistics network, and the sales floor operation in stores, price clubs, and multiple business formats. The executive's strategy seeks to connect executive decision-making with the daily reality of the more than 200,000 associates who make up the corporation's workforce in Mexico and Central America.

Reflecting on her first days within the organization, Lugo Saez emphasized that sustainable transformation is only achieved when corporate strategy ceases to be a conceptual document and becomes a living culture within the company. The executive pointed out that understanding the operation from end to end is fundamental to gauging the real impact of daily decisions in Walmex's omnichannel ecosystem. From her new role, the executive's central objective will be to catalyze cultural change to support the company's brand promise of helping families save money and live better in a constantly evolving retail environment.

From the next+ team, we congratulate Adriana Lugo Saez on this important professional achievement and wish her the greatest success in this new stage at the forefront of change management within Walmart de México y Centroamérica.
